The R232 generation returns the SL to its roots: this is a driver's car in the truest sense. A twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 produces 476 hp and 700 Nm of torque, channelled through a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT gearbox and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. The result is 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, accompanied by a V8 soundtrack that commands attention.

Drop the fabric soft-top in seconds and the SL becomes a proper open-air experience — wind, sound, and that engine at full song. The long bonnet, sculpted flanks and wide stance make this roadster as striking stationary as it is at speed.
